Using Gift Certificates

A Headsprout Gift Certificate, which never expires, can be redeemed for either 1 license of Early Reading or Reading Comprehension (Redeemable starting January 11th, 2010). The steps for redeeming your gift certificate depend on whether or not you already have a Headsprout account.

If you already have a Headsprout account, you can redeem your gift certificate by following these simple steps:

1. Log in to your My Headsprout account
2. If you wish to upgrade an existing learner who is in the free trial, click on the "Buy Headsprout Early Reading" button that is next to that learner's name on the My Headsprout page.
   1. This will initiate the upgrade process. Don't worry -- you will have an opportunity to enter your gift certificate during the upgrade process.
   2. The first step of the upgrade process will ask " If you have a promotional code, please enter it here". This is where you should enter your gift certificate code.
3. If you wish to enroll a new learner, click on the "Add a learner" link at the top of the My Headsprout page.
   1. This will initiate the enrollment process. Don't worry -- you will have an opportunity to enter your gift certificate during this process.
   2. The first step of this process will ask if you wish to enroll this new learner in the free trial, or simply purchase Headsprout for them now. Please indicate that you wish to purchase Headsprout Reading.
   3. The second step will ask " If you have a promotional code, please enter it here". This is where you should enter your gift certificate code.

If you do not have a Headsprout account, you can redeem your gift certificate by following these simple steps:

1. Go to http://www.headsprout.com/home/
2. Scroll down on the main page.
3. Please click the "Buy Now!" link on the right hand side of the page.
4. This will initiate the account creation process. Don't worry -- you will have an opportunity to enter your gift certificate during this process.
5. The third step will ask " If you have a promotional code, please enter it here". This is where you should enter your gift certificate code.
